Triangle S Creamy Chipotle Dinner

Ok, if you love flavor with some spice mixed in with a quick easy HEALTHY dinner... here's your recipe! 

Triangle S Creamy Chipotle Dinner

Servings: 4

Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 - pkg of Chipotle Cheddar Brats
  • 1 - pkg of Triangle S Ground Bison (or Beef, Beefalo or Elk)
  • 1 tbsp - Salted Butter

Sauce:

  • 1 - 16 oz of Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 cup - Grated cheddar cheese
  • 4 tbsp - Grease from meat
  • 2 tbsp - Salted Butter
  • 1/4 tsp - onion powder
  • Salt/Pepper to taste

Instructions:

  • Cut brats in 1" pieces
  • Place butter in a cast iron skillet at medium-high heat. 
  • Cook the Triangle S Ground Bison (or ground of your choice) and the Brats together in the skillet 
  • Once cooked thoroughly, let aside
  • To cook the sauce:
  • Get a stainless steel medium-small pot and place on medium heat
  • Melt the butter in pot
  • Add the cream and meat grease and steadily whisk to keep the bottom from burning
  • Once warm and starting to boil, add the cheese
  • Whisk to thoroughly incorporate the cheese until melted
  • Add onion, salt and pepper and whisk gently until it starts to boil.
  • Turn off burner and whisk gently for a few more minutes until it thickens slightly
  • Place a hefty helping of the meat on your plate and pour a scoop or 2 of the cheesy cream sauce over the meat.
  • Enjoy!!!
